Welcome to my travel and SCUBA Diving blog!

In 2014, after many years of building a successful IT and Business Improvement career, I quit the well paid and comfortable job, I waved farewell to London and everyone I love that kept me there and I moved to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico to complete the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC).  The beginning of a life long change from corporate city dweller to ocean living SCUBA Instructor and Underwater Photographer.

Along the way I will share the ups and downs, my thoughts and my experiences with you as well as try to be as helpful as possible to those considering doing something similar.  To see the story so far you can click on the Blog menu.  Feel free to also have a look through my Photography Gallery.

I love hearing your experiences and thoughts as well, so please leave me a comment on the posts you enjoy!

  1. I already love your story! Swapping suits is such an original title/niche. How cool! Can’t wait to read your work and about your journey.

My sister is a PADI certified dive instructor and I know how much she loves it. It enables her to travel all over the world and she has seen and done some pretty incredible stuff. I look up to her so much. I’d love to learn to dive one day, too.

    Thanks for reading!

    Cheers,

    Jill
